How To change the maximum dialog runtime of a process

Scenario:
The dialog work process runtime parameter is restricted to low value (For example 600 seconds).
This restriction will cancel a dialog work process after this run time has been reached.

Solution:
The parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time restricts the maximum runtime of a dialog work process.
This is a dynamic parameter, which means the value can be changed in RZ11 temporarily without restarting the system.
If the system is restarted, the change will be lost.

Hence it is recommended to change the parameter also in RZ10, so that the parameter will be effective permanently after the system restart.

Note:
If the parameter needs to be changed in all the application servers in the system, select ‘Switch on all servers’ option
